Next Steps

It is proposed to deliver 376 new homes within a thoughtfully designed community, featuring a mix of house types, generous open space, a country park, and a community hub - all tailored to meet the needs of Yarm’s residents of all ages. In accordance with the site’s allocation in the Stockton Local Plan it will provide specialist accommodation and facilities for the elderly as well as opportunities for multi-generational living.

After considering the comments received during this consultation, the next steps will be:

  1. Submitting a planning application
    End of November 2025

  2.  The Council will formally re-consult with local residents, members, and technical experts: Winter 2025/26

  3. Target for determination of the planning application: May 2026

These dates are approximate and are subject to change throughout the planning process.
